Choosing a Health Plan
As of January 1, 2024, Amerigroup is now Wellpoint.
Once determined eligible for NJ FamilyCare, enrollees must choose a managed care organization (MCO) or Health Plan to provide health coverage services.
To choose a Health Plan ask yourself these questions:
- What NJ FamilyCare Health Plans are available in my county?
- What doctors or specialists do I/we see and what Health Plan do they participate in?
- Does the Health Plan have other participating doctors, dentists, and drug stores that are convenient for me to use?
